The Brooklyn-based Posture Magazine attempts to explore identity through fashion and art. Its second print issue, themed "Ornamentation," was published this March and features award-winning artist Rashad Newsome on the cover, while inside, celeb photographer M. Sharkey captures winners from Newsome's King of Arms Ball III. In addition to first-time collaborations with up and coming fashion brands Whatever 21, BCALLA, Chromat, Gypsy Sport and GODDESS, Posture number two also features interviews with artist Lorna Simpson and architect Elizabeth Diller, among others.
We caught up with Posture's editor-in-chief Winter Mendelson to discuss art, Brooklyn, and the evolution of identity. Click through for more.
