Everyone—even a magazine devoted to shamelessly celebrating our true selves—has an embarrassing memory or three from the past we’d rather forget. In our case there were some obvious missteps: Fashion that seemed so chic fell flat (who would’ve thought even Jake Shears couldn’t rock sheer chartreuse?); inspired design workarounds to deal with unavailable divas simply came out grotesque (sorry, Madge). We regret Anne Heche for obvious reasons, but we’re hardly alone on that one.
