Tyson Meade, the godfather of alternative rock music, is back with a new album. Out.com has the exclusive premiere of the track, "Dusty Comes Up for Air," which is featured on Tomorrow in Progress.
As the former lead singer of Chainsaw Kittens, Meade is often credited for influencing Nirvanna and The Smashing Pumpkins's music. Jimmy Chamberlin, longtime Pumpkins drummer, collaborates with Meade on the new song. But he's not the only produce of Meade's influence to appear on the new album. On Tomorrow, Meade brings together some of alt-rock's biggest bands. Members of Pumpkins, The Flaming Lips, Veruca Salt and Alan Parson's Project all pitch in, bringing the world of alt-rock full circle.
