The Ryan Murphy juggernaut cannot be stopped.
Not only is the Glee mastermind working on a screen adaptation of Larry Kramer's The Normal Heart as well as a TV show about gay dads called The New Normal, but Deadline is reporting that he's sold Sony Pictures on the idea of One Hit Wonders, an ensemble flick starring Beyonce, Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon and Cameron Diaz about a group of washed-up 1990s songstresses who decide to form a super group to worm their way back into the spotlight.
And if that's not enough star power for you one-time Out coverboy Andy Samberg is reportedly supplying music for the film with his group Lonely Island.
Deadline's Mike Fleming says that the movie came out of a dinner that Murphy had with his soon-to-be leading ladies at Soho House, which leads us to believe that we have to get jobs as busboys there, because seeing a table with all of those people together might be the strangest and most exciting thing that could ever happen to us.
