Sometimes it seems like Andy Warhol never died. After all, everyone is always yammering on about him, dining out on having been a Factory regular, tossing up statues of him in Union Square, and generally refusing to let the wiggy old thing rest in peace.
Don't expect that to change any time soon. According to Gallerist NY, The Andy Warhol Museum, which is a great place to visit if you ever find yourself in the artist's home town of Pittsburgh, Penn., is opening a satellite location, funded by Hugo Boss, in New York in May alongside the Frieze Art Fair.
Included in the offerings will be a mess of Warhol's Polaroids as well as work by local artist Jeremy Kost. "I'm looking at it as a mini survey," the artist, whose contributions will include drag queen photos, silk screened work, and video, told the site.
