Kevin Costner told Anderson Cooper in a taping of his show, Anderson, that he had been corresponding with Princess Diana to star in a sequel to the 1992 hit film The Bodyguard. "Diana and I had been talking about doing Bodyguard 2. I told her I would take care of her just the same way that I took care of Whitney," Costner told Cooper, according to The Telegraph. "She wanted me to write it for her. I said 'I'll tailor it for you if you're interested.' She goes: 'I am interested.'" The actor goes on to claim that a draft of the script was given to him on August 31st, 1997, the day before the People's Princess tragically died from injuries sustained after a car accident. Some things, Kevin, you should just keep to yourself.
