While Chris Colfer was voted the most eligible bachelor in Out's 2013 poll, now that Adam Lambert is single once again, there may be a new most eligible bachelor on the prowl.
Set to preform at the Miami Beach PrideFest this weekend and to be honored at 24th annual GLAAD Media Awards in San Francisco in May, Adam Lambert recently revealed that he and boyfriend Sauli Koskinen (a Finnish entertainment reporter and TV host) have split up after nearly three years.
In an interview with South Florida Gay News, Lambert stated that the relationship has "been kind of on its way out in the last couple of months." Hoping for the best, he emphasized that the two are close and will continue to remain friends.
"Sauli and I remain really good friends, and I know it's a cliche thing to say. But it's totally true," Lambert said. "He's a great person and we've had an amazing couple of years together. Things have just run their course."
SFGN also noted that Lambert and Koskinen's relationship hasn't always been the best--i.e. their arrest in Helsinki in 2011 after an argument turned physical.
Lambert also alluded that the break up was caused due to their hectic schedules. "I've been getting really busy and traveling a lot and and he's been getting really busy because he has a show he's filming," he explained. "So we just decided to part ways."
Any Miami singles or travelers ready for Lambert this weekend? What's the gay male equivalent of throwing a bra on stage during a concert? (A jockstrap of course, so bring a spare.)
