NPH, Chris Pratt Rumored to be On People’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ Shortlist

People's "Sexiest Man Alive" issue is on the horizon and according to insiders, Neil Patrick Harris and Chris Pratt are the two top contenders.

According to The New York Daily News, Pratt and Harris are the two top candidates for the honor.

"People has never had an openly gay 'Sexiest Man' before. It would certainly make news and generate buzz for the magazine," says The Daily News' insider. "Plus, Neil is going to be hosting the Oscars. He's in 'Gone Girl,' he was just on Broadway. He's also happily married with kids. He is having an amazing year."

That being said, Guardians of the Galaxy was a big movie for Pratt and his currently white-hot popularity is an incentive for People to feature him on the cover. "If he can make blockbuster money, he can sell a ton of magazines is the thinking," says The Daily News' unnamed source. "What The Hangover did for Bradley Cooper this film did for Chris. It's his year."

Jimmy Kimmel will announce who will make the cover on his ABC show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday, November 18.
