Watch Jussie Smollett Perform 'No Apologies' on Empire Ep 2
While it's clearly Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) who is gonna be everyone's mama to ogle with her crazy lines in Empire -- you gotta give the boys a hand. For example, last night in the second episode of the Lee Daniels series, titled "Outspoken King," she has these choice rejoinders:
"You gonna Ray Rice me?! I've faced bigger in prison -- with more talent, bitch!" This is what she screams at the label's biggest rapper, Kid FoFo, when he threatens to slap her for calling him ugly and talentless. But after Lucious (Terence Howard) and Cookie pit their sons/acts, Jamal (Jussie Smollett) and Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray), the brothers combine forces for a showstopper.
