The idea of taking the iconic (and sentimental) '70s indie film Rocky and transforming it into a big-budget Broadway musical seemed strange from the second we heard it. The show opened in New York in March of this year, and will be closing Aug. 17, but we'll never forget those intense moments when Apollo Creed jabs Rocky Balboa in the ring at the Winter Garden.

It wasn't all about bros wanting to catch a little sweat ringside, however. We couldn't take our eyes off the hunks in the ensemble who trained just as hard as Andy Karl (who plays Rocky). With choreography by super talented Steven Hoggett and Kelly Devine, they had to stay in shape, and we thought we'd strip them down and show them off front and center. Four actors in the ensemble cast--James Brown III, Adrian Aguilar, Okieriete Onoadowan, and Adam Perry--volunteered to be photographed by Cedric Terrell at a studio in Chelsea with just the barest of essentials.
Although the shows closes this month, there's still time to catch these guys on stage. Or just enjoy our NSFW portfolio.
