"Skin is the first thing you see. Just being seen in your skin can be so vulnerable."
IMG Model and Assassination Nation actress Hari Nef is continuing her fashion industry takeover--this time, by landing a starring spot in L'Oreal's new cosmetics campaign, True Match, which also features videos of a pregnant Blake Lively, model Xiao Wen Ju and actor Darnell Bernard.
"I'm Eastern European - I think I might be a little paler than my family, I came out really pale," she says in the video, which pairs the brand's 33 foundation shades with a diverse cast. "Skin is the first thing you see. Just being seen in your skin can be so vulnerable."
L'Oreal Paris USA's deputy general manager Tim Coolican described this initiative as a "mission to empower everyone to own and embrace their individual beauty and intrinsic worth," adding that the brand's new True Match campaign "celebrates the power and beauty of feeling comfortable in your own skin."
