Google Partners With Designer Christian Cowan to Create 'Really Blue' Jeans

A fusion of technology and fashion to celebrate Google's Pixel smartphone.

Celebrating the launch of Google's Pixel in the color "Really Blue," Cambridge-born designer Christian Cowan has created an exclusive pair of "Really Blue" jeans, featuring pockets stitched specifically to fit the smartphone.

The rising talent's fusion of technology and style comes with a campaign inspired by Calvin Klein's iconic '90s denim shoot, which featured Kate Moss and Mark Wahlberg. Cowan's homage stars Toby Huntington-Whiteley posing alongside models in matching blue jeans--one pair decorated with glittery stars and another trimmed with ruffles.

"It's awesome to be working with Google on this project and a challenge that I couldn't resist," Cowan said in an official statement. "'Really Blue' is such a unique colour and the concept behind it really appealed to me."

This collaboration follows Cowan's NYFW breakout earlier this month, which saw Paris Hilton walk the runway twice. He also recently contributed a custom leather catsuit to Lady Gaga's "John Wayne" music video, which she wore while racing after her lover on a motorcycle. No stranger to fashion's relationship to technology, Cowan previously designed, while studying at Central Saint Martins, a wide-brimmed selfie hat, which Gaga wore while promoting her ARTPOP album.
