The Cher Show will have its first staged reading early next year.
The Cher Show is a musical production that will be all about the life of the musical goddess Cher.
Initially announced late last year, the show will now have a two-week long staged reading in New York City from Jan 2-14.
A breakdown in Playbill also gives us a short description of what we can expect from the production.
In this production, the characters of BABE, LADY and STAR represent Cher at different moments of her life--starting as a teenager who falls for Sonny Bono (BABE), a successful music star navigating the challenges of the entertainment industry (LADY) and the lady we know today with a fascinating wealth of life experience, successes and failures (STAR).
The star seems to be keeping busy as she also is planning her "best show ever" which kicks off in February of next year.
The Cher Show runs for two weeks in January and will feature songs like "I Got You Babe," "Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves," and "If I Could Turn Back Time."
