In the wake of Sunday's tragic massacre in Orlando, gay pop singer Eli Lieb collaborated with his firend Brandon Skeie to produce a powerful new song and video dedicated to the victims of the shooting, titled "Pulse."
The lyrics of the song reveal the pain of not living and loving openly for fear of attack:
I'm in chains cause I'm choosing
showing love or living life
I shouldn't have to leave where I stand
I shouldn't have to change who I am
To count as a human
Feel my pulse
