The whistle-heavy tune will appear on the alt-pop star's new LP, CollXtion II.
Alt-pop singer Allie X is gearing up to release her sophomore album, COLLXTION II, which led first with the masochistic single, "Casanova." If you happened to call her 1-800 hotline in February, you would've heard a brief snippet of the whistle-heavy second single she debuted today, called "Paper Love."

Where Allie X's debut album, COLLXTION I, saw the LA-based artist layering synths for a maximal effect, this new effort is an exploration of essentials--only including the necessary instrumentation to create a minimal palette with grizzly deep guitars.
Lyrically, "Paper Love" sees Allie X singing about a nasty lover. "Oh, I cry until I just dissolve," she sings. "Come on watch my heart turn to pulp like paper, paper love."
Listen to "Paper Love," below, ahead of COLLXTION II's debut on June 9.
