The Dance on the Pier is an iconic piece of New York's Pride history. Celebrating its 29th year, former headliners have included Cher, Whitney Houston, Jennifer Lopez, and Janet Jackson. Not only is it the largest ticketed party of the week (an estimated 10,000 will attend), it's also NYC Pride's largest fundraiser. This year, Ariana Grande, the next generation of diva, will bring the week of LGBT festivities to an end as only she can, ponytail and all.
Before Grande takes the stage on Hudson River Park's Pier 26, DJs Ralphi Rosario, The Cube Guys, and Wayne G. will get the party going. And after Grande lays us low with her killer vocals, the night will end with a fireworks show over the water. As if that weren't enough, there are even VIP packages that promise to make the night even more unforgettable.
