The crowd of 1,000 called the two friends “fags,” “sickening,” and “AIDS patients” while they made out and gave them the middle finger.

David Fernandez and Gregor Eistert were passing through the Malasana neighborhood in Madrid when they saw a crowd gathered.

Nearly 1,000 men and women had grouped together in the square for rally by Hogar Social Madrid, a far-right, neo-Nazi political group.

Fernandez, 23, went looking for a table in the terrace when bar owners starting taking away seats because of the protest.

When the couple heard the chants of the crowd, they embraced each other and kissed.

The pair claimed it was completely spontaneous after they started to hear anti-gay insults from the crowd.

Eventually, a police officer encouraged the couple to leave, but both men believed it was more for their safety than anything to do against them.

Watch the two men and their steamy kiss below.
