Adele Announces Release Date for New Album, 25

And just like that, all across the world, a resounding "YASSSSSSSSSSSSS" can be heard.

Adele posted a picture of her face this morning to her Instagram with a caption confirming that her new album, 25, will be dropping on November 20.

It has been approximately four years and eight months since Adele released her Diamond certified, multi-Grammy winning sophomore album, 21...not that we've been counting the days or anything.

Yes, while we all lurrrrrrved her Academy Award-winning, hit single, "Skyfall," it's felt like we've waited an unbearably long time for a new album, so this is a more than welcome news. Whereas 21 was seen largely as an album chronicling a painful breakup she endured, Adele promises 25 will be about "making up with herself."

Here's hoping the next 29 days go by as fast as humanly possible.
