EXCLUSIVE: Black Gatsby Debuts Steamy 'In The Dark' Video
We're excited to debut "In The Dark," the latest video from up-and-coming pop phenom, Black Gatsby (a.k.a. D'Angelo Lacy).
The L.A.-based singer-songwriter has matched his spellbinding track with a ghostly--and risque--video, in which Gatsby is visited by a siren-esque ghost while he and his man take up in remote British country home.
As Black Gatsby tells us:
"This story was something that was close to both myself and director Emily-Jane Robinson and also one we had not seen represented in the mainstream media or brought yet to a mainstream audience. We found a small crew and the perfect cast (Ayoola Bakare and Miles Mortensen) who believed in project and our story. Shortly thereafter, we shot in a secret location just outside of London in the English countryside through the night (in the dark). The process was a very emotional and raw experience as the art began to imitate life."
It's a whole lot, but it's a whole lot of yes!
