Lesbian Rapper Siya Returns to Sisterhood of Hip Hop
Oxygen's hit docu-series Sisterhood of Hip Hop will return for its sophomore season June 9. In case you're not in the know, it follows a cadre of female rappers as they try to make it big in hip hop.
For lesbian emcee Siya, Season 2 will be about the big decisions. T-Pain has shown interest in her career and is considering signing the up-and-comer to his label, but that'll mean she'll have to leave Tank, her mentor and ally.
"The drive and passion of these female MCs is what makes Sisterhood of Hip Hop stand out and really resonate with young viewers," said Rod Aissa, executive vice president of original programming and development for Oxygen Media. "This season they immerse themselves in LA's hip hop scene surrounded by some of the most influential mentors as they put it all on the line and risk everything to make a name for themselves."
Sisterhood of Hip Hop promises all the drama, thrills, and surprises you'd expect (along with hip-hop icons such as Da Brat, T.I., T-Pain), and from the trailer (below), it doesn't look like it'll disappoint.
Sisterhood of Hip Hop Season 2 debuts Tuesday, June 9 at 9PM ET/PT on Oxygen.
