Just because Mad Men's over doesn't mean you can't get a healthy dose of postwar nostalgia. Deadline reports that Grey's Anatomy alumn T.R. Knight has joined the cast of Hulu Original series 11/22/63.
The nine-episode series from J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot Productions and author Stephen King will star James Franco as Jake Epping a mild-mannered divorced English teacher who happens upon a time portal that sends him back to September 9, 1958. Having leapt into the past, Epping goes on a quest to prevent the JFK assassination, which occurred on November 22, 1963.
Knight will play a 1960s Texas salesman by the name of Johnny Clayton. He can't quite divorce his estranged wife Sadie Dunhill (Sarah Gadon), who is falling for Epping. The two will face-off in a battle that could bring some unpleasant truths to life.
The miniseries is based on King's 2011 novel. No premier date has been announced.
