The singer traveled to Seoul, South Korea, to shoot the video for her upbeat electro-pop track.
An outspoken advocate of sex-positivity and the LGBTQ community, Samia XI extends her philosophy of personal empowerment to everyone she meets, so for "Only Wanna Dance," she wanted to capture the feeling of falling in love with someone new and everything that goes with it.
The video for the upbeat electro-pop track was a homecoming of sorts: Samia XI returned to Seoul, South Korea (where she grew up in a military family), to shoot the video, and it includes sporadic dance parties from a pub crawl that Samia organized across Seoul. The fun, unruly group played "Only Wanna Dance" in each bar they visited... appropriate for a song she considers a "love song to Seoul."
