Aydian Dowling is in the running to be chosen as Men's Health magazine's "Ultimate Guy."
If he wins this disctinction, the trans fitness model, who famously recreated Adam Levine's nude photoshoot, could make history by gracing the cover of the world's largest men's magazine.
In celebration, Gay.net compiled stills from a recent video he shot with The Register-Guard, an Oregon publication near Dowling's hometown of Eugene.
In the video, Dowling undergoes his daily workout of muscle training, lifting, and flexing his way to sexiness. He also told The Register-Guard his reason for entering the contest:
"I'm doing it to show that every person who identifies as a male has the potential to be their version of the ultimate guy. And, I think being on the cover of a magazine that is so mainstream, that is so known as being stereotypical, or having a stigma attached to it, I feel it kind of breaks that in a way, because you're literally saying that anybody who wants to put their heart into it and just go do it and be an ultimate guy, which is a do-er, a go-getter, somebody who's fearless, somebody who just wants to live their life... I think it would just make a statement to every transgender person ever."
So here it is, 20 photos that prove Dowling is the ultimate guy. For more, check out a video here.
