Marvel Gives Gay Superhero Iceman His Own Comic Book

Marvel tweeted out an announcement earlier this week that our favorite gay hero Iceman will have a solo comic book coming out.

Iceman, also known as Bobby Drake, came out as a gay last year in a time-warped storyline where Jean Grey outs his younger self using her mind-reading powers.

No other details about the new comic have been released yet--so no word on whether we'll be following the young version of the hero or his present day self.

Either way we're just excited to see what Marvel does with this new project--and hoping our inhuman friend Romeo makes an appearance.
