Gigi Gorgeous Releases New Video Honoring Transgender Awareness Week

Gigi Gorgeous gives us a special video on her YouTube channel this week to help honor the start of Transgender Awareness Week.

The cast of the video include fellow YouTube star Kingsley, TV personality and 2016 OUT100 honoree E.J. Johnson, Secretary of the Human Rights campaign Sarah Mcbride, and trans model Andreja Pejic.

The group of friends go around and ask a series of random questions that start off fun and lighthearted but soon turn heavy as they begin to speak on issues like the controversial HB2 bill and anti-LGBT immigration.

Gigi also brings up her incident in Dubai where she was threatened with arrest if she were to step foot on its soil, saying that it was a "hard reality check for her."

The conversation later takes a happier turn as each person then gives their hopes for the LGBTQ community.
