Nothing says 'I love you, Mom' quite like a Garry Marshall ensemble comedy.
Whether you like it or not, another Garry Marshall film is upon us. In the same vein as Valentine's Day and New Year's Eve, the director's latest ensemble comedy, Mother's Day, features multiple characters and their intersecting stories. With an all-star cast including Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, and Kate Hudson, it can't be that bad -- or can it? Here, our staff dissects the first trailer.
Watch the trailer and let us know your own reaction:
Julien Sauvalle: "I mean, I could write a dissertation on Julia Roberts and her wig in this. But Jason Sudeikis is good eye candy!"
Les Fabian Brathwaite: "I don't even need to watch this trailer--I've already bought my ticket, bought my popcorn and am sitting front row waiting for Julia Roberts's wig."
Glenn Garner: "Last time Julia Roberts successfully pulled off a bob, she was playing a hooker. Coincidence?"
R. Kurt Osenlund: "I think there's a bob / John joke in there somewhere..."
Jesse Steinbach: "Love when that angry tween speeds away in a Volvo Station Wagon."
James McDonald: "I... I won't be seeing this."
