The Beypocalypse is nigh.
For months we've known Queen Bey was coming back. She just showed up in January and claimed 2016 as her own, but instead of making the world collectively gay-gasp at yet another unannounced visual album, she's been slowly teasing us. First "Formation" dropped out of nowhere and within 24 hours everyone was quoting their Negro and Creole heritage and love of Jackson 5 nostrils.
Following her performance at the Super Bowl featuring some other people (I guess), Bey announced a world tour. No album, and I still don't know how to download "Formation," but that tour has been selling out left and right. Now, after relentlessly poking the Beyhive, mom's announced a date, a title, and--frustratingly enough--a subscription cable service.
Something called "Lemonade" is debuting Saturday, April 23 at 9pm ET on HBO. Bey previously and mysteriously announced this with a 20-second preview, but here's a full minute and five seconds to further intrigue, tantalize, and Beywilder you:
