Skateboarder, occasional rapper, and national treasure Lil Wayne reveals in a new memoir that he served some same-sex nuptials while serving time back in 2010.
In Gone Til' November, a handwritten journal detailing his eight-month stint at Rikers Island stemming from gun charges, Weezy shares how he and his fellow inmates threw together a gay wedding on an incarcerated dime.
According to Page Six, Tunechi describes "playfully" marrying off two male inmates, making wedding decorations from toilet paper, and toasting the happy grooms with 13 bottles of Gatorade.
"Gatorade is liquid gold in this bitch," the Lil one writes. "Imagine seeing grown-ass men in jail hanging tissue for wedding decorations. AND one of them is Lil Wayne. Crazy."
Not so crazy, thanks to Snoop's pioneering efforts with BFF Martha Stewart, rappers are very in touch with their crafty sides these days. It's a good thing. And it's a great thing that Lil Wayne bucked hip hop's bad rap for being homophobic.
Now the question is, how much does it cost to have a free Lil Wayne officiate your same-sex wedding?
