Jeffery Self: Please Respect My Privacy

Selfwide_0

You don't even need to buy tickets to writer and performer (and chronic over-sharer) Jeffery Self's free (free!) Los Angeles show, Jeffery Self: Please Respect My Privacy

If you don't know what's been happening in writer and performer Jeffery Self's life over the last year, it's not because he's been keeping secrets. His annus horribilis has been shared (and over-shared) on social media.

In other words, that crazy bitch had a full blown mental breakdown that he documented for months on Twitter.

In his new solo show, Jeffery Self: Please Respect My Privacy, Self (co-creator with Cole Escola of Jeffery and Cole Casserole on Logo, and author of Straight People: A Spotter's Guide) takes a hilarious and honest look at the idea of privacy in the age of infinite information. It's not just his own over-sharing he's laughing at but everybody else's too.

Three performances only!
Wednesdays: October 22, 29, & November 5 at 7:30PM
Akbar, 4356 Sunset Blvd., Silver Lake
