The model turned actress' literary breakout is a "twisty coming-of-age story."

Model turned actress Cara Delevingne announced today on Instagram the arrival of her debut novel, Mirror Mirror, slated for release this October. "Another pinch-me moment," she said, just days after it was revealed she was the star of Chanel's new "Gabrielle Handbag" campaign alongside Pharrell.

Describing the plot of her breakout book, Delevingne said it's a "twisty coming-of-age story about sixteen year old friends Red, Leo, Maima and Rose, who are all trying to figure out who they are and navigate the minefield of school and relationships. Until it all changes one day." She added that "the process of putting this novel together has been life changing and something I hold really close to my heart."

Mirror Mirror is now available for pre-order on Amazon, which says Delevingne's novel is a gripping exploration of "identity, sexuality, friendship and betrayal." Fans of We Were Liars, Go Ask Alice and The Girls will likely be fans upon its fall 2017 release.
