"I started this project to celebrate incredible LGBTQ lives, be it activists, actors, artists, etc. The subjects of the portraits range from historic figures such as Audre Lorde and Alan Turing to contemporaries like Lena Waithe, Kevin Abstract, and 90s Ellen Degeneres," says illustrator and artist Cole Degenstein.
