We stand with Imane Khelif.

Khelif is a cisgender boxer who has faced an avalanche of hate, racism, misogyny, and transphobia during this year's Paris Olympics after the International Boxing Association (IBA) said she failed an unspecified "gender eligibility test" last year during a tournament.

The IBA is a disgraced organazation that was banned from the Olympics due to allegations of corruption and unfair judging, and is lead by Russian businessman with ties to Russian state money, Umar Kremlev. Kremlev banned Khelif after she beat a Russian boxer.

No evidence of what the test was or what her results were have been given, but TERFS like J.K. Rowling and Elon Musk immediately jumped on her with claims that she is a man beating up women.

Thankfully, people are seeing through this TERF hate and are defending Khelif and all women with DSDs (which we don't know if Khelif is one).

Khelif also is powering through the hate, defeating her first two opponents and advancing in the tournament. As the Olympics continue, we'll continue following her story.

Now, for the rest of the news.

Have you seen pole vaulter Anthony Ammirati and his amazing performance at the Olympics? If you haven't you need to go now and read all about how his own huge pole got in the way of him getting a medal.

What We're Watching

Of course, we're watching the Olympics, but this week we're also watching the animated Batman: Caped Crusader on Prime Video. The show follows the titular superhero in a 1940s Gotham City and is heavily inspired by Batman: The Animated Series. It has some really fun versions of queer characters including Harley Quinn and Renee Montoya and we're loving it!
