Emil Wilbekin, the 2017 Master of Style Honoree
OUT and Cadillac teamed up to celebrate those who dare to be bold, both in style and entrepreneurship with the 2nd annual Master of Style event. Held at the chic Cadillac House in Tribeca, OUT and Cadillac honored Emil Wilbekin, distinguished journalist and founder of Native Son--a movement created to inspire and empower Black gay men to foster fellowship, affirmation and celebration--as the 2017 Master of Style. Hosted by Next Native Sons Dustin Ross, Memsor Kamarake and Charles Harbison, over 150 guests, including notables Bevy Smith, EJ Johnson and Ty Hunter celebrated Emil's many contributions to LGBTQ culture over Belvedere cocktails, music by legendry DJ Bill Coleman and a beautiful portrait photo booth by WelTHe Images.
