Chace Crawford Saw Your 'Weird DMs' About His Dick

None of us have forgotten Chace Crawford's package in the promotional calendar sent out to promote his gritty Amazon superhero show The Boys -- I know I haven't! The former Gossip Girl star appeared very excited while packed into his skin tight superhero suit -- he played an Aquaman stand-in called The Deep with consent issues and some weirdly placed gills -- in a photo that quickly went viral, leading most of the internet to thirst over Crawford's sizable assets.

And yes, Crawford knows about the stir his meaty tuck caused, and says it led to some very interesting fan responses. Talking to Entertainment Weekly, Crawford revealed that while "there is a story behind" the photo, he is "sworn to secrecy" by The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke.

"I wish I could give you a good answer but we'll never know," he said. "It will forever remain a mystery. We will never know! Oh my god!"

Crawford found the reaction to his hunky (and chunky) shoot "so funny," but said the person who got the biggest thrill from it was Kripke. "He thought it was the funniest thing in the world. Oh god." Crawford added that "it was probably a little bit overcovered," which feels like an attack, but go off! "But I was like, 'Whatever The Deep can do for you guys to get some press, you know I'm ready to support the show," Crawford said.

"That was one I had to explain to a few people. I got a lot of weird DMs in my inbox. A lot of love, a lot of love!" Yes, Chace, we know you have a lot of love.
