‘Queer Eye’s Antoni Porowski Is People's ‘Sexiest Reality Star’

The fans have spoken.

It's that time of year again, when People magazine turns the tables on men and objectifies them instead. We're just a week out from its annual "Sexiest Man Alive" announcement and the magazine has already begun trickling out some details about how fans feel.

People recently anounced that Queer Eye co-host Antoni Porowski was voted "Sexiest Reality Star." The Canadian chef beat out The Bachelorette's Mike Johnson and Tyler Cameron, Vanderpump Rules' Tom Sandoval, and Dancing with the Stars' Val Chmerkovskiy.

The "Sexiest Man Alive" issue is a long-honored traditiondating back to 1985 when Mel Gibson, obviously prior to his anti-Semitic breakdown, was the first person bestowed the honor. Over the last three decades, Channing Tatum, David Beckham, and Dwayne Johnson have been recognized. Last year's "Sexiest Man" title went to none other than the man who should be Mr. Bond, Idris Elba.

Only one woman has ever been dubbed "Sexiest Woman Alive" by the publication. That is Kate Upton, who was described as such December 2014 (the year Chris Hemsworth was the "Sexiest Man"). But the publication does have their "100 Most Beautiful People" annual list, the top honor of which most often goes to a woman. (Jennifer Garner currently holds that title.) Cindy Crawford and former beau Richard Gere had been declared "Sexiest Couple of the Year" in October 1993, another break with tradition.

In the lead up to the reveal of who will take this year's top honor, the celebrity magazine is releasing the results from other fan-voted polls. In addition to "Sexiest Reality Star," People has announced its "Sexiest Funny Guy," which went to The Daily Show's Trevor Noah over Hasan Minhaj, John Mulaney, Rob Delaney, and Kumail Nanjiani. There's also "Sexiest Athlete," which went to the Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry over Mike Fisher, Rafael Nadal, Michael Phelps, and Bubba Wallace. Lastly, "Sexiest Funky Fashion Sense" went to Crazy Rich Asians' Henry Golding over A$AP Rocky, Donald Glover, Eddie Redmayne, and Jeff Goldblum.

"Sexiest Man Alive" will be announced the week of November 18.
