On Saturday, Swift surprised fans Alex Goldschmidt and Ross Girard at their engagement party after receiving an email from Goldschmidt, which is weird because she's been ignoring my emails for years. The moment was captured in a video for Goldschmidt's YouTube channel.

"There was a person who is not here who sort of played a part in all of this," said Goldschmidt. "So I would like to welcome, and you to give a warm welcome to my friend Taylor." The pop star entered to screams from the couple's guests, carrying an acoustic guitar -- big yeehaw energy -- and explained that Goldschmidt had told her "he was gonna do this and there was this song that was really special to you two called 'King of My Heart.'"

"So I came prepared, and I've been off tour for awhile but hopefully it's still all right,' Swift explained, playing the humble queen. "This is from Alex. It's sung by me, but it's from Alex."

The night after her engagement party engagement, Swift made a low-key appearance at the Oscars with fiance Joe Alwyn, who starred as Emma Stone's love interest in The Favourite. Girls and gays, Taylor Swift's Cats Oscar campaign has officially begun.
