Anderson Cooper Throws Shade at Andy Cohen Over Politics
“Oh, Aaron Schock,” said Cohen. “She has not agreed to be on the show.”
Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen are friendly enough to have slept with the same man at least once, but are they more frenemies than friends? On Sunday's episode of Watch What Happens Live, the pair engaged in a shady political tete-a-tete.
"Someone asked me over the weekend which of the Democrats I'm excited about and I was like, 'It is too early,'" Cohen said. "I am existentially exhausted by this two years in advance. Is there any part of you that feels like, 'I can't believe we're all so full-throttle on this and it's two years away?'"
Cooper disagreed, saying that the majority of Americans have been more politically engaged than ever during Trump's presidency and that it's not "surprising the level of interest this early on." He went on to ask when Cohen decides on a candidate.
"Now I think you're being shady to me," Cohen responded. "I just feel like, I'm still exhausted from the last election."
"Well you've been so deeply involved that it's gotta be tough every night, you know, to be doing this show in the midst of that," replied Cooper, oozing sarcasm. He then asked if closeted former conservative congressman Aaron Schock, who was recently spotted with his hands down another man's pants at Coachella, had agreed to be on Watch What Happens Live yet. Ya burnt!
"Oh, Aaron Schock," Cohen drawled. "She has not agreed to be on the show."
And during all this, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams sat silently -- relatable.
