Lady Gaga Says Pride Month Should Be 'Pride Year'
No matter gay, straight, or bi, lesbian, transgender life ... we all know Lady Gaga has been a vocal ally since the beginning of her career. At a recent show for her Las Vegas residency, Mother Monster doubled down on her advocacy, saying that she believes Pride month should last all year long.
Last week during her show Enigma, Gaga introduced "Born This Way" with a special Pride message. "It's Pride Month, but in my mind, it's Pride all fucking year. Let's celebrate all sexual identities, every religion, every color, every kind. Let's go! Celebrate your freedom!"

During her encore performance of "Shallow" from A Star Is Born, Gaga wrapped herself in a rainbow flag. Ally is an ally confirmed!
Days later, during her Jazz and Piano Engagement -- which, girl, I need to see -- the Artist Formerly Known as Stefani Germonatta performed a piano rendition of "Born This Way" with another special introduction. "In the spirit of Pride Month, which I declare as Pride Year, let us release ourselves from all that binds us and celebrate all sexual identities," she said to cheers, reminding her audience to ask: "What is your pronoun?"
“Well, @ladygaga has spoken this evening and it is no longer #PrideMonth it’s Pride YEAR. #BornThisWay #GagaVegas #JazzAndPiano #Pride 🏳️‍🌈”— Lee Cook (@Lee Cook) 1560151195
Gaga will also celebrate Pride with a special one-night performance at the Apollo Theater in New York City on June 24, presented by Pandora and Sirius XM. Will she use the night as an opportunity to officially declare every month Pride month? Stay tuned.
