Evangelical Preacher Says Taylor Swift Is Pushing the Gay Agenda

And CATS isn’t even out yet!

Ally of the Year Taylor Swift is being accused of leading the American people down a path of sin by promoting the gay agenda, and CATS isn't even out yet!

Evangelical preacher Franklin Graham, a spiritual Trump lackey who preached at the president's inauguration, is not happy about Swift's performance and acceptance speech at Monday's MTV VMAs, where the pop star unrepentantly pushed the gay agenda. Swift recreated her queerbaiting (or celebrating, if you're less cynical) music video "You Need to Calm Down" and reminded the audience that the Trump administration is sleeping on the Equality Act, and Graham is pissed.

"Shame on Taylor Swift for using her platform to try to push the socialist left's so-called Equality Act, which has nothing to do with equality, but is about pushing the LGBTQ agenda down the throats of the American people," Graham wrote in a Facebook post. "When she received an award for her LGBTQ pride-themed music video at the MTV awards last night, she did a pitch for the Equality Act. This bill is the most crushing threat to religious liberty in our nation's history."

Over in reality, the Equality Act is actually a bipartisan bill that would write nondiscrimination protections for LGBTQ+ people into law, which the White House claimed is "filled with poison pills that threaten to undermine parental and conscience rights" in response to Swift's support.

"In addition to allowing perverted men access to women's private spaces like dressing rooms and restrooms, and allowing biological males to take over girls' and women's athletic competitions, this bill would do a lot more damage," he continued.

It seems like the son of Billy Graham, who has attacked Pete Buttigieg and called the Pride flag "offensive," is doing more damage, but he probably wouldn't agree. "It's about trying to force those of us who don't agree to accept and approve the LGBTQ lifestyle, and I'm not going to accept that."

So he probably isn't watching Pose then?
