Remember When Robert Pattinson Said He Liked Being Spit On?

Yesterday an old clip resurfaced of Robert Pattinson promoting the film The Rover on Jimmy Kimmel Live in which he got candid about one of his favorite things to do: get spit on.

"Have you ever had someone spit on you in a kind of erotic way?" Pattinson asked Kimmel in the 2014 interview.

"Let me think about it for a second," Kimmel replied. "No, I haven't. I haven't had that." Noob!

"It's pretty great," Pattinson replied.

The thing about it is that just before the kinky banter, the actor admitted that he makes up lies out of panic. The statement led him into revealing that he thinks he has "heavy saliva," which he believes is remedied by fibbing. So maybe this was all made up?

He explained: "It's panic. It's sometimes ... you know when you go down the rabbit hole of things you can't get out of.... I have extraordinary heavy saliva.

"It's funny. I noticed it the other day - why am I talking about it?"

Jimmy asked: "You mean it's got more thickness?"

Prompting Pattinson to reply: "It is. I try and spit I can only get it about a foot."

A seemingly stunned Kimmel then exclaimed: "Really? What?"

Roberto then offered an explanation, saying: "Someone informed me the other day it's because I have heavy saliva. I thought it was because I didn't have much lip power. I find it easier when I'm lying ... I think the panic and the adrenaline..."

Whatever floats your boat, Rob!

Earlier this summer Pattinson landed the lead role in the upcoming The Batman taking over the role from Ben Affleck. The Matt Reeves directed film trilogy will begin filming this Fall or early 2020. We are hoping that either there's a little spittle action on camera, or at least Kimmel brings this all back up when the actor comes back for a new interview.
