Looks like Andrew Rannells has a new man in his life. Well maybe not so new, but at least there looks to be a public update to the relationship!
Recently the actor posted a photo to instagram of himself and actor Tuc Watkins in a pool shirtless. Rannells is embracing Watkins, and the two seem pretty at peace. Only a few days later, Watkins himself also uploaded a photo of the pair, again shirtless, again with Ranells giving the embrace from behind. And sure, they could just be hanging out as friends, or even working on their chemistry for a role, but whenever two guys both post photos of each other giving some sort of affection to one another, we call that "Instagram Official!"
It seems my circle isn't the only one: Cheyenne Jackson commented "You're Insta-ficial now" onto Watkins' post.
This won't be the first time the pair is together though. WhenBoys in the Band was revived on Broadway in 2018, they played the onstage couple Hank and Larry. That revival went well enough to be adapted for Netflix and both will carry on their roles. We love love!
They will also appear in Showtime's Black Monday together, where they will presumably not be love interests. Watkins was recently announced as a part of the show, in which Rannells has a starring role..
"Spoiler alert: Left-leaning Progressive playing right-wing Republican," Watkins wrote to Instagram of the announcement.
Rannells plays Blair Shmerman, a straight Wharton graduate who believes he can game the market and win companies big money. Who knows, maybe Shmerman is a little curious.
