Oh, and the host is already working on more Drag Race
RuPaul is set to be the recipient of yet another honor, this time from the RealScreen Awards -- the announcement comes at a busy time for the performer who just dropped some merch, is still pushing a makeup line, and is in the middle of promoting her Old Navy deal. At RealScreen's virtual presentation in January 2021, the longtime host is set to be inducted in the Realscreen Awards Hall of Fame. The performer joins names like Kim Kardashian, Anthony Bourdain, Gene Simmons, and more.
"As the host and executive producer of one of the most popular reality competition series on the air today, RuPaul's signature blend of inclusivity and entertainment has been hugely influential in unscripted programming in recent years," Barry Walsh, editor and content director for Realscreen, said in a statement. "We are absolutely thrilled to be able to induct RuPaul into our Hall of Fame in January."
The honor joins a ton of others that Ru has enjoyed during her career including getting a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame, getting inducted into California's Hall of Fame, and winning a historic number of Emmys in the hosting category. But the queen of drag isn't resting, she has many irons still hot in the fire.
This week on Instagram, Ru wordlessly announced a line of merchandise. Simply posting a photo of some of the products, she advertised a new holiday collection replete with "All I Want for Christmas Is Ru" mugs, a "God Save the Queen" fleece blanket, and even a "Sashay Away" face mask. For those hoping to get the merch in by Christmas, it is suggested they order with USPS first class shipping by Monday, December 7. But that's not the only thing she's selling.

Last week RuPaul launched a second collection with Mally Beauty over in the UK on QVC. That line of nine products includes a "No Tea, No Shade Brightening Concealer," as well as"Draglash Extreme Mascara" and more. No U.S. release has been announced.
In addition, RuPaul/s Drag Race began casting for season 14. With season 13 already confirmed -- and reportedly filmed -- the series is getting a jump on things and U.S. residents can apply by January 15, 2021 to see if they make the cut. The show is likely to air in 20221.

If you need more Ru now, there's always her ongoing Old Navy show. It's only a few minutes per week on Instagram but that's something. In the first episode the performer did some wreath decorating. In another teaser, she gave a few sugar cookies some needed "contour." Truly never thought we'd see the day.
New episodes of RuPaulidays, the Old Navy show, air on Friday.
