The Rocky Horror star goes into further detail about why the most recent episode pissed her off.
Boy. Things just seem to keep getting worse for RuPaul's Drag Race season 12's most recent castoff, Aiden Zhane. After bombing her take on Patricia Quinn -- best known for her role as Magenta in the beloved queer cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show -- for the show's longrunning "Snatch Game," Zhane was rightully critiqued by the judges and her fellow competitors. Then, Quinn herself got into the fray, saying that she was "disgusted beyond belief" by the portrayal in a recent Facebook comment. But now, Quinn is back with more to say -- and it's not just Zhane in her crosshairs.
On Wednesday morning, the Northern Irish actress released an official statement criticizing the episode not only for Zhane's insulting depiction of her, but also called out now-disqualified contestant Sherry Pie's "tasteless" imitation of Katharine Hepburn's neurological disorder. Quinn even stated that she hopes she is "not associated with this TV show again." Ouch.
Though Zhane certainly alluded to Quinn being a drug-addled, aging actress in her impersonation, to those who have watched the entire season it might be plausible to attribute some of Zhane's mishaps to nerves and lack of preparation. At any rate, a life lesson learned for the young queen: Don't f**k with Patricia Quinn.

Well Dammit Janet! I have been an actress since I came over on the boat from Northern Ireland to London nearly 60 years ago without a penny because I wanted to act. I have never been interested in drugs, and with regards to my memory, I was recently applauded onstage for my sharp recollections of filming The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
I am disgusted beyond belief at how I was portrayed onRu Paul's Drag Race. I was flattered that a young person wanted to portray me on a popular TV show but unfortunately this is where the flattery ends. I did not respect being described as a "old cookie woman" or being depicted as a washed-up actress who has taken too many drugs. I am actually filming a new movie later this year and look forward to that and there will be no drugs on set! Well not from me anyway! I wish Aiden had given me the common courtesy of a "heads up" and maybe I could have given him a few lines etc., to say on the show.
I hope I am not associated with this TV show again. From my portrayal to making fun of Katherine Hepburn's neurological disorder I found the show tasteless.
I want to thank my Rocky Horror fans who have been amazing and shown overwhelming support. I couldn't ask for a better fan base. I do not know Aiden, but I do not wish him the upset or distress that I have felt in the past few days.
