Bella Thorne Made $1 Million in 24 Hours With OnlyFans

If you were wondering the income potential for OnlyFans, then look to someone who has apparently maxed it out. Actress, writer, and sometimes pornographer Bella thorne has made history with her earnings from the premium social media app.

After announcing the launch of her OnlyFans page on Instagram, Thorne raked in over $1 million in revenue from fans within 24 hours. The actress set her subscription level at $20 per month. For that she promised "personal content and never before seen photos and videos," according to a release. None of that content -- so far has been adult material, which is popular on the platform -- but Thorne has committed to respond to every DM on the platform.

Thorne joins the likes of Shea Coulee, Cardi B, Remy, and other celebrities who have begun to post on the platform. On it, creators can charge fans a monthly fee of their choice for cotnent. While the vast majority of users post adult content, many celebrities do not.

Since the first 24 hours, Thorne has reportedly made another million, bringing her up to $2 million. Page Six reported that the launch of her page briefly crashed the entire site. Thorne told LA Timesshe's using OnlyFans as research for a new movie she is working on with Sean Baker, who directed Tangerine.

"It's a feature we are researching as I'm living it currently," Thorne explained . "What are the ins and outs? What does a platform like this do to its users? What's the connective material between your life and your life inside the world of OnlyFans? ... How can it change your life for the worse and the better? How far are you willing to go, and how far do you WANT to go? You can be me, or this talented girl from Montana, and OnlyFans could change your life -- if you want it to, of course."

She said she plans to offer personal messages and offer classes in baking, songwriting, and Final Draft.

If Thorne does decide to venture into adult content it won't be her first time. Last year she directed an award-winning BDSM film for Pornhub.
