Even more reasons to love The Crown.
Actress Emma Corrin had a short message for fans in her latest Instagram post. The young performer who is currently on the awards circuit for her stand out performance in the most recent season of Netflix's The Crown -- she plays Princess Diana -- has been doing quite a bit of press. In her latest post she uploaded images from a recent Pop magazine cover story.
"Ur fave queer bride," she wrote alongside images of her in a wedding gown and veil. The image appears in Pop's 44th issue. Corrin hasn't commented on the post further, though fans have begun to celebrate it as a coming out moment.
The actress is certainly about to hit a busy time. In addition to The Crown, she's signed to appear alongside Harry Styles in My Policeman. In the feature, Styles will play a bisexual cop who is married to Corrin's character, but who also has a male lover. She is also set to star in an adaptation of Lady Chatterley's Lover as well as Anna X, which is a stage play. She took home a Critics Choice Award, Golden Globe Award, and Screen Actors Guild Award for season four of The Crown.
The 25-year-old also was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list this year under the Europe Entertainment division.
Being able to play young women finding themselves and overcoming obstacles is such an honour, but I intend to use my platform to write and produce, so I should hope that the roles I play will continue to push me as an actor, no matter what age I am," Corrin told Forbes of her future. Artists MNEK and girl in red also made the list.
