'The Crown' Star Emma Corrin Once Kept a Girlfriend's Clothes to Sniff

Who's sweater has Emma Corrin been sniffing?

The Golden Globe winning star of The Crown raised eyebrows and her glass during a game of Never Have I Ever for Vanity Fair when she confessed that she has kept a partner's clothes to smell.

Corrin was playing the game with Jessica Alba, Kelly Rowland, and Baby2Baby cofounder Kelly Sawyer Patricoff for the Vanity Fair Cocktail Hour Live!, an annual pre-Oscars party.

The prompt "Never have I ever kept a partner's item of clothing so I could sniff it," got an immediate drink and blush from Corrin. When Alba asked, "but wait, Emma, did he -- or she -- know that you were keeping said item of clothing?" The 25-year old actress replied that yes she did.

"She did know, yes," she confessed. "Um, yeah, but I think I'm a very smell-oriented person, and I could do it with jumpers. Jumpers is a good one. Jumpers are sweaters. It's the most comforting thing you could hug."

That wasn't Corrin's only love confession of the night. Another question was if anyone had ever joined the mile high club. After Strong said the idea baffled her, Corrin piped in with "Is it definitely sex and only sex," prompting laughter from her competitors. When Strong said, "I think whatever you want can count," Corrin took a drink. Ooooh we want details!

She also confessed to having a crush on one of her The Crown costars, but wouldn't spill the details. When the others asked if it was Prince Charles, played by Josh O'Connor, she did say it wasn't him. Maybe it could be another co-star, like let's say, Gillian Anderson, who won a Golden Globe for playing Margaret Thatcher in the series.

Corrin seemingly came out last week when she posted a series of pictures of herself in a wedding gown and veil and included the caption "Ur fave queer bride." Now that she's opened up about a former female partner, she seems to be confirming that.

Next up for Corrin is a starring role as Harry Styles' wife in My Policeman, a period drama about a closeted police officer whose male lover comes back into his life after he has been married to a woman for years. The film will also star David Dawson, Linus Roache, and Rupert Everett. Greg Berlanti, who wrote and directed Love, Simon is producing. She is also set to make her West End debut with Anna X, which will premiere in July.
