Lil Nas X is opening about his current relationship!
In a recent cover story interview for VMAN conducted by fellow queer musician and BROCKHAMPTON member Kevin Abstract, the 22-year-old "Industry Baby" rapper and current Out cover star gave a rare glimpse into his personal dating life and talked about how he thinks the current relationship he is in is one of his best yet.
"We met around the time that I was about to do the SNL thing. But we just started dating maybe two weeks ago," X revealed when asked by Abstract exactly when he met and started dating his beau, whose identity is still a mystery to fans. (Still, there are many online rumors going around that the Grammy winner might be seeing the backup dancer he kissed during his infamous BET Awards performance this summer.)
When Abstract later went on to ask how it felt to be dating someone, and how it feels to not have to hide that part of yourself from the world, X gave a response that feels like it was said during the sweetest, cutest rom-com we've seen in a while.
"I feel like this is one of the best [relationships] yet," he replied. "I'm really happy about it, and it all just feels natural. It's effortless."
But this isn't the first time X has gone on the record about his new man.
"I've had some good boyfriends and some bad ones," he told Variety earlier this month. "A lot of them were emotionally unavailable or had a lot of insecurity and whatnot. But I've found someone special now."
He continued:
"I think this is the one. I can't explain it -- it's just a feeling."
