Watch Demi Lovato Hunt Aliens in New Unidentified Series Trailer

Demi Lovato

Demi's journey for the truth regarding UFOs is going to make for one entertaining AF reality series!

Demi Lovato is after the truth.

After the singer and actor had their own personal UFO experience while in Joshua Tree, California, Lovato can't help but wonder if aliens have visited Earth. That's what they, along with their best friend Matthew, and sister Dallas, seek to find out in the four-part docuseries Unidentified with Demi Lovato, which just released its first trailer.

In October of 2020, Lovato posted on Instagram that they had "witnessed the most incredibly profound sighting both in the sky as well as feet away from me," and in the new Unidentified trailer, they expand on that experience.

"I had this crazy experience that happened to me in Joshua Tree. It was this bright light that kind of moved in these weird ways that a plane wouldn't move," Lovato says. "My goal is to find out what really happened."

The show looks like it's going to be filled with some great UAP (Unexplained Aerial Phenomena) footage, plus some fun times with Lovato and their friends. Demi is a charismatic star, and even if the show was just four hours of them sitting in the dark watching the sky, they'd still make it compelling.

Interest in UFOs or UAPs, as the government calls them, has exploded over the last year, especially after an appropriations package signed into law included a provision that required the secretary of defense and director of national intelligence to submit unclassified reports on the government's UFO knowledge.

When it finally came out, the report was, of course, disapointingly vague. The assessment included 144 confirmed UAP reports from US Government sources, with 18 of those reporting "unusual UAP movement patterns or flight characteristics."

While the government said that most of the report could be explained as airborne clutter, natural atmospheric phenomena, government or industry developmental programs, or foreign government technology, they admit that there are a few reports in an "other" category that the government is looking deeper into.

Unidentified with Demi Lovato premieres September 30 on Peacock!
