Halloween is here, which means that LGBTQ+ celebrities are getting spooky, sexy, and savvy with their costumes.
Pop culture in 2022 has been marked by horror movies and TV shows such as Halloween Ends, NOPE, Hellraiser, Smile, Orphan: First Kill, American Horror Story: NYC, and Terrifier 2, to name a few. Besides taking inspirations from those high-profile projects, celebrities always like taking inspiration from iconic characters that they grew up on - from superheroes to cartoon characters to legendary villains to horror icons.
This year, the queer community is pushing back on Halloween costumes inspired by real-life serial killers who targeted LGBTQ+ individuals.
