Anthony Rapp & Ken Ithiphol Welcome Newborn First Child Rai Larson

New parents alert!

Rent and Star Trek: Discovery star Anthony Rapp has welcomed a baby boy (via surrogacy) with his long-time partner Ken Ithiphol.

Rapp, 51, and Ithiphol, 36, have been together since 2016 and got engaged in November 2019. They have now become parents with the birth of Rai Larson Ithiphol on Friday, December 2, 2022. Overall, this has come as a surprise to some fans given that Rapp and Ithiphol hadn't previously announced that they were expecting a child.

The new parents have welcomed Rai Larson with sweet Instagram posts on their respective pages. Rapp and Ithiphol wrote in the caption:

"Ken and I are thrilled to share that our family has grown! Our son, Rai Larson Ithiphol, was brought into the world on Friday, December 2, 2022, by an incredibly generous surrogate, to whom we are eternally grateful. (Rai is pronounced like "rye" or "chai.") We love him very much."
